A little bit about me...

Francine Engels was a trailblazer in Miami real estate and the visionary whose work made Properties of Miami possible.

Originally from Belgium, Francine brought with her a strong European work ethic, sharp business insight, and an exceptional understanding of real estate markets. In the early 1990s, she founded Immo South Realty, at a time when commercial real estate in Miami was largely male-dominated. Through perseverance, expertise, and unwavering professionalism, she became one of the first top-producing female commercial real estate agents in Miami, earning lasting respect throughout the industry.

For more than 25 years, Francine successfully owned and operated her brokerage, specializing in commercial real estate and advising investors, developers, and business owners on complex transactions. She was known for her integrity, strategic thinking, and ability to build long-term relationships rooted in trust.

Francine chose Miami not only for its climate, but for its diversity, energy, and opportunity — qualities she embraced both personally and professionally. Her values of hard work, ethics, and client-first service became the foundation of her career.

Inspired by her mother’s example, values, and entrepreneurial spirit, her daughter, Carole Engels, went on to open her own brokerage, Properties of Miami. The company was created as a continuation of Francine’s vision — built on integrity, excellence, and a deep respect for clients and community.

This company is proudly dedicated to the memory of Francine Engels, whose vision, integrity, and leadership continue to guide Properties of Miami.
